Consigning designer bags in Sydney: a quiet guide

26 May 2026 · 5 min read

Consigning a designer piece should feel as considered as the piece itself. If you're new to consigning luxury handbags in Sydney, here's what the Lux Haven Consign process looks like from your side.

What to prepare

Original receipts, dust bags, boxes, authenticity cards, and any service history all add provenance — and value. Don't worry if you've lost some of these; we'll still authenticate, photograph, and represent your piece beautifully.

How our tiered commission works

Pieces under $1,500 — you take home 55%. Between $1,500 and $5,000 — you take home 60%. Over $5,000 — you take home 65%. There are no upfront fees; we invest in photography, marketing, and authentication on your behalf.

What we handle

Editorial photography, dual authentication, considered marketing and advertising, direct outreach to our curated client list, and white-glove shipping Australia-wide and to New Zealand.
